The sharpener is a little noise than I expected also the frame should be a square that way gave more support and less vibration or add something in the wall to eliminate or reduce the vibration and noise. The sharpener is working fine but I think if is gave more RPM or control them that way the customer customize accordingly to their needs. Need a better instruction for different items

Great sharpener. Proper instructions on manual for ease of use. Angle guide is well angled. Sharpening ability is great mostly because of the stones used. 3 options, crude/coarse, polish & knife sharpening. Grip is also great, has a gripping bottom. Also has dust/debris catcher. I'm very happy with it.

It takes a bit of a learning curve to get it right. I’ve used it a handful of times and I still can’t get the knives as sharp as they should be. It does sharpen though. It is a bit loud as well

For the cost,this may do the job for home use. If you are serious about sharpening knives,or have a restaurant you may want to spend considerably more. You get what you pay for.and sometimes less.

If you want razor sharp knives this is not the product for you. I suspect that most people have never had a truly sharp knife. That said, this sharpener will do a good job getting your knives in better shape. I found that after I sharpened a knife, a couple passes with a steel improved the edge.
Easy to use and stays put. Works very well on scissors but you have to figure it out for yourself.

Wonderful device. I love this sharpener. It has it quirks but it works extremely well. I have three pairs of scissors for sewing projects. After a few months of use and dropping them by accident they became a little hard to use. This sharpener took out the snags in the blade and sharpened the blades to where the scissors work like new. I have also begun work on my favorite kitchen knives. I would recommend this product but caution people that you must follow the instructions. Shortcuts and not reading the paperwork don't work with this device.

This sharpener does not sharpener all sizes knives. You can not sharpen small blades completely. The design does not allow for the first 3/4" to be sharpened. DO NOT TRY TO SHARPEN SCISSORS. Again the design does not allow for the full length of the cutting edge to be sharpened. I will update after using the knives I sharpened.

Just a couple of passes with the sharpener and my knifes are like new. I really have to be careful when washing dishes so that I don't cut myself now. (Angle the knifes and follow the directions and the sharpener workes great).

I love that this one actually does work. I have tried rollers other mechanical ones that just do not have the RPMs to actually do the job or the right rhinestones. This one here has course to get back to metal and then fine in order to get rid of the burrs. you don’t have to worry about your angles as they’re already set truly truly works outstanding. all of my steak knives now are sharp. I haven’t used them for years and they sliced through meat like a champ.

First used on kitchen knives. In 3 passes per slot, took a dull and slightly nicked carving knife to a literal razor's edge. All my cooking knives are now perfect.

The only issue I have is that the shape of the slot isn't conducive to pocket knives, camp knives, or any knife with a handle that is close to the blade. You cannot sharpen the inch or so that's closest to the handle.

It's rather noisy when you turn it on, but not too bad. The instructions are pretty clear that you have to slant the knife as you draw it through, but I found that the unit itself pushes it into a more upright position than what I intended. I passed the knife through only twice and I feel like it did get sharper. I didn't have a lot of time to play around with it, but I'm confident that once I get the hang of it, this will sharpen my knifes pretty good. I can see the imprint of the sharpener wheels on the blade, so it could be that I ran the knife a little too slowly through it. Like I said, it does take a learning curve to get this to the best possible sharpness. I've never used a sharpener like this, so my learning curve might be steeper than average. I have enough confidence in it to keep working at it. I took off a star simply because I think the instructions could have been a little more detailed. I would like to know if those markings I see on the blade are an indication that I'm not doing it right or not. How fast do you actually move the knife through? How many times does it take to make a significant difference? I was very disappointed in the knife set that I had ordered as they arrived extremely dull with a manual sharpener included. So my knives are in pretty serious need of sharpening. It helps with my confidence to have some idea of how many pass-throughs a dull knife would require to get sharp. The instructions are so full of foreign languages that the English instructions are just not detailed enough for me.

Just like a man, I didn't read the instructions first. I sharpened a knife, and it wasn't sharp, but after reading how to hold the knife and how many times to run it through. I am well pleased.

I found it rather hard to keep the knife at the angle it needs to be. Know my knives were dull but after 7-8 times drawing it through I thought it be good to go. But no. Really takes more time to sharpen it. Thought being electric would be faster. Can use the manual one I have for the same time it takes to sharpen it with this one. So very disappointed. Husband always sharpened my knives boy do I miss him and his skills.

I love this sharpener, very easy to use and fast can sharpen your knife in no time. I’ve purchased a few different ones before including those sharpening block but was very difficult to use. Now I can finish sharpen all my knives in 10 mins without any specific skills.

I shop in about 59th so far works really well on medium to big knives . Also, works pretty decently on sharpening scissors . I was worried about the motor strength bought one around the same price from Walmart, but burnt out within the first month of using. But this one is going strong for three months now .

I recently purchased this Knife Sharpener and I have to say Iam very impressed with its performance. This sharpener is the perfect addition to my kitchen. It is compact, durable and easy to use.
One of the things I love about this sharpener is its compact size. I don't have much bench space and this sharpener fits perfectly without taking up too much room.
Another great feature is that the mechanism is effective, I can sharpen my knife, box cutter, paper cutter all in this sharpener. It has very clear instruction on the sharpener and I would never forgot how to use it correctly.

I never got the machine as same as that good one product. I was following the instructions within 30sec , the knife is very sharp and very easy to cut off. This sharpener helps my life much more easily.

This is a great knife sharpener that will allow you to get sharpen your knives in a minute. Before you start to sharpen your knives go ahead and read the instructions. You can really ruin your knives with an electric sharpener.

Usually, manual knife sharpeners are not very effective since they tend to waste a lot of time and effort in order to get them to work. This one, on the other hand, is very easy to use also you can sharpen your scissors as well.

You can easily see from the video how quickly it sharpens your knife and by the way, that knife was an old, not good knife. Forget buying a new knife set each time just get this sharpener and solve the problem!

1. It is kid friendly and safe, the slots to sharpened a knife or scissors is small that a child would not be able to push their finger in.
Next as you can see in my video, it is not too loud or overpowering, moderate noise when sharpening knife. It does a very good job, the knife was very sharp. It is easy to setup, just plug in the charger and there is a on and off switch on the left hand side. Very useful. build is strong and this product will last for a long while.

This is a great quality automatic knife sharpener for the price. I have an old knife block that I’ve been sharpening manually for years. Over time the manual sharpening has cause burrs in my most used knives. The fine grinding option combined with the angled drag path smoothed out those burrs quickly. Not having to sharpen manually on top of the hours a day I spend in the kitchen have reduce the joint pain in my hands. The scissor sharpener is a nice bonus. Also the motor isn’t excessively loud; after a week of use my cats aren’t visibly disturbed racing towards the back of the house every time I fire it up.

Couple of things I’ve noticed when sharpening knives are the curved top makes it harder to maintain the sharpening angle specifically at the start and end of each knife, the smaller the knife the more wobble you need to account for. My only issue is I’m left handed so I can’t hold the sharpener on top with my right hand. It does have small suction feet which help; so I hold the sharpener at the bottom near the grinder. Flipping the sharpener around and pushing the knives though felt very awkward and isn’t an option.

Overall this a great product and very inexpensive given the quality. Hopefully the motor will last for years. Planning on getting one for my sister.

I’ve been sharpening my knives and scissors with a sharpening stone like a caveman for years. This was a revelation to me. I just plugged this guy in and intuitively sharpened all my stuff very easily, and man are they sharp. It even has a tray that catches your metal shavings, and it’s a magnet! Awesome!

I’ve never had an electric knife sharpener and thought I would give this Narcissus Knife Sharpener, Professional 2 Stage Electric Knife Sharpener a try. I was not disappointed! This electric knife sharpener was easy to use you just plug it in and turn the switch on. It’s small and doesn’t take up a lot of room. It is easy to use and it has a sharpener for your scissors which is why I got it in the first place. In the video I tried to sharpen the knife while recording but you need to hold onto the device when sharpening. This item does have suction cups on the bottom to help hold it still. I would recommend this item.

This knife sharpener is a huge upgrade form the manual one I had. This sharpen the knives extremely well. I tried sharpening my kitchen scissors with it and it is sharper than ever. You have to maintain a somewhat precise angle to sharpen effectively but once you get a hag of it, this tool is amazing. It saved me time and effort while using the sharpened knives. Definitely recommend this product.

Overall, it does the job of sharpening knifes, but the results is ok, easier to use and better than some knife sharpening tools out there, but it's still can't do as good quality of sharpening as a manual sharpening stone can offer.
Plugging in a 5V2A power adapter, switch on the switch, motor rotate, and pull the knife to sharpen it.
It's nice that it's a 2 steps design which sharpen with the coarse first and then the fine one.
However, you can feel the suction cups can't hold the sharpener well on my smooth granite countertop, probably due to excessive vibration from the motor rotations.
Also, the vibration may also be caused by the imbalance of the sharpening stone inside, so, actually I feel slightly difference sharpening result from the "left" and the "right" side of the knife.
The compartment which collects the sharpening metaldust maybe too shallow, and don't know what's the purpose of a small sponge there.
It does sharpen knifes some what, it's electric, convenient to use, it can improve a lot for dull knives, but unable to bring them to the ultimate sharpness, the suction cups to hold the unit isn't impressive to hold the unit stable. It's good for general use and quick sharpening.

After my original review the company reached out to apologize for what appears to have been a defective unit. They sent a replacement (on the way), but the customer service response was truly top notch and deserves being mentioned. I'll update my experience with the sharpener as soon as the new one arrives.

Attractive design with poor implementation. The Narcissus electric knife sharpener is clearly too preoccupied with its good looks to be of any service. I tried several different kitchen knifes with this thing and they all came out more jagged and useless than before being 'sharpened'.

There's two sides and a scissor edge sharpener on the side which I didn't try. The coarse side = jagged messed up edge. The fine side = only one side of it works, and still = jagged messed up edge.

I guess I know why its so quiet ... because it just don't work.
