I did a ton of research and decided to give these a try. Initial reaction I’m very happy with these. Well made a d sharp! I will update the review if I change my mind.

Be careful if you get these super sharp knives. The high quality high carbon stainless steel blades are razor sharp. The handles are solid and they provide a solid base for the knives. The knives come well sharpened and are able to easily slice through almost any food, but the best part is that the steel blades are such good quality, that they will be able to be sharpened and returned to almost new and last for years if well cared for. The manufacturer warns not to wash in the dishwasher and to dry them before returning to the block, which I have done and I have not gotten any rust appearing on them. I was a bit worried that the purple color wouldn't look good in my kitchen, but I don't even notice them and I actually have learned to like the color. I would highly recommend this set.

It arrived with broken handle, but customer service was wonderful to deal with. I love my set so much, very sleek and very sharp. Very highly recommend

I've been watching a lot of cooking shows lately, and I've recently learned that you should NEVER put any good knives in the dishwasher. Detergent can be abrasive and the constant bombardment of these abrasives for over an hour in the dishwasher each cycle can and will dull your knives. It's really not a big deal at all to hand wash your knives and dry them off after each use, as well as pots and pans with non-stick coatings. Since I've been doing that, all of my knives have been staying a LOT shaper a LOT longer. So, when I saw these knives have stickers right on the blade that say, NO DISHWASHER, I thought to myself, I wish my first set of knives had that sticker on them!! I didn't know any better, I just threw them in there with everything else.
This set is very nice, and the knives are very sharp. My wife's favorite color is purple, and the white block blends in nicely with our light countertops and white walls. We've only had these a short time, and they are working really well. The set comes with a sharpening steel, we've never had one of those before, but have seen instructional videos, so we'll give it a try. We plan on treating them right, hand wash only, and only using them on nice soft wooden cutting boards, we used to have a glass cutting board which was great to clean, but we learned that cutting on something as hard as glass is another thing that makes knives dull prematurely.

This knives in this set are high quality, well made, are feel heavy duty and well balanced, and work well with no issues. The knives are extremely sharp, with beautiful mirror finish shiny stainless steel blade. The knives perform very well in my kitchen with no problem. The pink handles of the knives is actually comfy to hold, stylish and attractive tools. The pink knife block is heavy duty and works perfectly for storing and displaying these knives. Im happy with this set and recommend it.

My Thanksgiving dinner will be greatly enhanced when I roll these out for their premier use.

These are gorgeous looking knives, very sharp, and they feel great in your hands.

Even as a southpaw, these knives are comfortable and a perfect weight to hold and cut with.

Each knife, no matter which size blade it is - feels to be just exactly the right weight distribution and comfort level in your hand.

Each cut is effortless and smooth.

I cut the thinnest slices of tomatoes I have ever cut before with ease and without them looking shaved or broken.

The color - well it's more lavender than it is purple but it is as shown in the advertisement.

The scissors is the same as the knives - incredible quality and the perfect weight to length distribution.

Love that they included a hand held sharpener, very useful.

Can't say enough good things about this set of beautiful knives.

My inlaws are going to be struck with a deep, dark, shade of green and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it.

I love to cook, in fact as you can see I cook international food and I'm very good at it, so for me the quality of the knives is as important as the quality of the ingredients, especially since my dishes are made only with natural and fresh ingredients, which is why I chop and cut everything. Before I used a very well-known brand, but after trying these I can say that these are clearly superior in everything, from the moment you hold the knife in your hands you can feel its perfect weight and the handle has a firmness and is made of a different material that makes it superior to others I have used in the past, the blade of the knife also feels different every time you cut an ingredient and its edge lasts much longer than others, they undoubtedly surprised me and I loved them.

I am no chef or have any experience in a professional kitchen but have been a home cook for years and have used my fair share of knives. Great variety of knives including the most-often used by me chef knife santoku, bread knife, boning knife, utility knife and pairing knife alongside the 6-steak knifes for the dinner table and the all-necessary kitchen shears. All knives have a nice hand feel and balance - solid construction with a full-tang design. All wood block with an all-black looks - looks great in the kitchen and feels of quality. They come with a great edge - cutting through anything with little effort. I haven't used them long enough to know how well the edge last but for now its been holding up great with the occasional hone. I think the most stand out detail of this set is going to be its price to quality ratio. These are not the highest quality knives but man do you get a solid set of knives for a great price. Definitely a good buy with these.

Update: I have been using these for about a year now. They are really amazing! Still just as beautiful and sharp as when I received them. I do sharpen them quite frequently; just a few swipes on the supplied iron that it comes with and they are good as new. Great product!!!!!

I was needing another block set of knives to have downstairs kitchenette area, so I ordered these. The knives arrived very well packaged and protected in their signature box. The 12 knives encompass every aspects you'd need in a knife set: 8" chefs, 8" serrated bread, 7" santoku, 6" boning, 5" utility, 3.5" paring, six 4.5" steak, multi-purpose shear, sharpening steel, solid wood black non-slip bottom block to hold all the knives and utensils.
The knives have a full tang and a good hand feel. Everything feels sturdy and well made. They are very sharp and made of high carbon stainless steel so hand wash is recommended to protect the finish and sharpness. I like them all, but my personal favorites are the utility, paring, steak, santoku, and the shears. These knives should last a lifetime if cared for properly.
