Delsey Luggage Aero 2 Piece Set (21 & 25) Spinner Suitcase (Titanium)

Very happy with this purchase. The first pic is the 21" after the first use after my first trip using these. The second pic is the 25" new. I bought the item as used but when it arrived it was never removed from the box. The box it came in was a little damaged but luggage was intact and still in its protective covering (I recommend buying used if you have that option I saved about 70 usd, I purchased the 21" and 25" set) The luggage is comfortable to use it's nimble and rolls smoothly, the handles are tough and the extended handle might seem like it's flimsy and feel loose but they are designed that way to minimise possible damage. Also the blue color and the design of this luggage is beautiful 😍. Would easily recommend these to my family and friends 👍

Well, it took 6 years of nearly full-time traveling to fulfill its final mission. I wish there was an odometer on this because I’m sure it would read hundreds of miles; many on crappy uneven sidewalks, and the wheels never gave out. It was getting to a point I thought this suitcase was indestructible. Even though it finally met its demise, it proved unbelievably reliable for such a long period of time. I more than got my money’s worth. I’m actually a bit sad to part with the remains. RIP my friend.

I usually lean towards Samsonite...however I was blown away by the laptop front compartment in the carryon! Your comp will be protected by the hardshell on the outside and a slight padding on the inside. It is roomy enough in there for a notebook and writing stuff. It rolls on double 360° wheels and is driven with a telescoping handle.

I recently took a round-trip with this suitcase, and so far, it has been great. Here are some of my favorite features:

- I love the look and feel of this suitcase. I got the latte-colored one. At first, I thought it would have a light green tint based on the pictures, but it’s actually more of a cream color. Either way, it looks great!
- The suitcase held up well throughout my trip, and I had no issues wheeling it around the airport. The 360-degree spinner wheels make it incredibly easy to maneuver
- There was plenty of room for my clothes and essentials.
- After multiple uses, the zipper still works smoothly and feels durable.

One minor con is that this hard shell material is more prone to scratch marks. I bought a luggage cover to prevent this from happening, so my suitcase still looks in like-new condition. Overall, I love this suitcase and recommend it!

Update: these pieces of luggage are theeee best on the market! Just spent 20 days carting them around Europe and the infamous cobblestone streets and many MANY flights of stairs. They held up wonderfully. We packed a smaller one ( empty) into a larger one so we had plenty of room for gifts and shopping. We PACKED every piece so tight ( one bag weight just under 70 pounds) and the zippers held, the seams held, the wheels held, the handles held….everything held! I am so happy we bought multiple pieces.

I just received this and haven’t used it yet but it appears to be great quality and very comparable to Samsonite.. even better! The handle on top is easy to grasp. The wheels turn with ease. Inside has plenty of room as a carry on size. Our Samsung lasted 1.5 years before the telescoping handle broke, so hoping this will last longer. It came highly recommended from a family member who travels 100% of the time for work. The color is a shiny burgundy red. Will be easy to spot if I ever have to check it.

We bought this Delsey Paris medium checked bag for a week+ trip. I could easily fit all I needed in the bag and really enjoyed how easy it was to navigate the airport. Much larger than my previous bag but lightweight so quite manageable. I liked the versatility of having one half with straps to keep items in place and the other half contained by a zipper compartment. The removable lining is great for cleaning, and I was able to put my hiking sticks (def shortened and not at full length!) there to eliminate the chance that the tips would rip clothing.

Just got my 25 inch to go along with his brother. I have not used it yet but in arrived intact ( half the battle ) The 29 inch model has been around the world a few times. Scratches / scuffs bit no dents or wheel malfunctions. So hopefully the 25 inch will be just as good. Lot of things in life you get what you pay for. Luggage is one of them.

This little suitcase is a workhorse! I bought it and a samsonite omni carry on for a trip to Greece. This was the winner for sure. The 8 wheels make such a difference. It fits in all the overhead bins, glides in the airports, etc. I have now had for a year and it has been used several times a week for flight travel in the U.S for work. I just bought another one because everyone else always wants to use this suitcase. I didn’t buy the one with the pocket though. I really don’t use the pocket - I keep my laptop in a backpack with me- I fly small airlines and have to valet my bag sometimes and don’t want to have to remove the backpack. I can easily fit 10 days worth of clothing( in packing cubes), 2 pairs of shoes, my toiletry bag and makeup bag plus my stainless steel yeti in this. It’s the only carry on you will need. I’m getting ready for another Europe trip and going to take the 21 inch carry on!

First I can't be any more happier about this purchase! I got the 29" on Amazon warehouse deal ( used open box) for less than a $100. It came in great condition, only minor blemishes, scratches to the outside ( only because it has a glossy finish) with all tags attached and everything in good working order. The handles are nice and sturdy with rubbery feeling to them. The wheels are awesome. The zippers and interior fabric is nice and more thicker than other flimsy polyester fabric used in other luggages. My only issue is that the strap inside the compartment isn't elastic. In every large suitcase I've seen, this strap is better when elastic especially if it's in X shape. Another minor issue is how in the product description it says, scratch resistant. This is not true at all. This luggage has a beautiful, smooth, glossy finish and obviously it will scratch easily and mine already has many minor scratches since it's a return item. I wish the shell was made with matte finish with tiny embossed pattern on the shell, so it could resist any scratches. And last but not least the case doesn't have any rubber feet on the long side (pic 2) or on the broad side ( pic 3) when it's going to be open on the floor to help protect the glossy finish. As you can see, it's already picked up fiber and dust from my carpet. These are very minor issues and this is a beautiful, stylish luggage but it would fantastic to improve those issues, especially since Delsey is reputable luggage brand. TIP: don't pull the pull out handle to the max, it is flimsy as in every other luggage I've seen. Watch the Video.

I bought this bag to use as a carry on for a week-long trip overseas. I was very impressed with the quality, durability, and storage space. I was able to fit a week’s worth of cold weather clothes as well as a pair of shoes, small toiletries, and a winter coat. The bag fits perfectly in an overhead bin, even when extended. Due to a packed flight, it was checked during one leg of our travel and got slightly scuffed, but not bad or even noticeable without really looking for it. On my trip, I ended up doing a lot of walking over cobblestone paths and the wheels held up perfectly. It was also drizzly and while the bag itself got a little wet and muddy on the bottom, my stuff inside stayed perfectly dry. Just a quick wipe down with a damp cloth and the bag is good as new again too. All in all, I’m extremely pleased with this purchase.

Bottom line up front:
PROS: works perfectly after 60+ weekly flights; fits in every overhead bin no matter the size; smooth rolling, light, and packs well; can't emphasize the first one enough - still works as well as the day I got it.
CONS: bumps and dings are visible, but not awful; limited room for laptop when completely full

I travel a lot for work, so this bag has been on 62 flights since I got it. I estimate it was checked for 20, overhead bin for the other 40. It has taken a beating and holds up very well. It's taken a lot of dings, many of which are visible due to the high gloss. You can see in the pictures that there are some visual scratches and paint chipping. It's what you expect with what bags go through on planes.

Functionally, however, the bag is still in perfect condition. Zippers, handles, wheels, all of it works great. Rolls smooth as can be in any direction - push, pull, sideways, whatever.

The size of the 19" bag is a great plus too, because it fits in the front overhead bins that most roller bags don't fit in. For southwest, this means I can get the bulkhead while everyone else passes it by. I've never had an overhead bin that it couldn't fit in.

My only complaint - minor, and echoed by other reviews - is that the clothing section expands into the laptop holder/front section pretty quickly. I don't like that it's putting that much pressure on my laptop, so I sometimes open the expansion to relieve it. That being said, my laptop has been in that front pouch for every trip and hasn't gotten any damage, so the hardness of this bag comes through.

You packing milage may vary, but I've easily gotten 4-5 days worth of clothes in here + a pair of shoes + my laptop. That means two pairs of pants, several t shirts, a pair of shorts, and enough socks/underwear for 5 days.

I take frequent business trips about 3 days in duration and I intentionally pack light and only with carry-ons. I was concerned that the size of this option would be too small. (It was about 2 inches shorter than my prior bag) However, I just completed two trips and I am very pleased with how it worked out. First off, I was able to get 4 days of business casual and some after work clothes and an extra pair of shoe packed, no problem. I'm a guy so I admit I will likely pack lighter than my female colleagues, based on experience. I love the wheels which made maneuvering airports and plane aisles easy. The suitcase fits easily in the 737-800s I was on with tons of room to spare for other bags. I was pleasantly surprised how easily it fits in the overhead compartments because I was used to my slightly larger old bag. I liked the expansion zippers and the compartments. The TSA compliant lock is a nice feature that mainly offers me peace of mind to keep the zippers from coming undone. I also really liked how the bag opened in two equal parts which made packing easier for me. The internal straps were helpful for condensing my clothes for each compartment. The shell of the case seems solid which is nice because I know I can beat the snot out of my luggage. I added two photos that show how I travel with my computer bag. Based on my experiences so far I would buy another one if the need arose.

I have used lugged this all over the world, several times over and it holds up great. I wish the wheels were a little larger, but I expect I am going to need to do a bit of maintenance on them how that the case has gone through a few years of pretty regular use.
UPDATED May 2022: I have two cases, now 6 years old. Prior to 2020 I was using two of these very frequently on flights around the world. I am just now returning to travel. One case cracked eventually -- apparently got dropped from a height by baggage handlers, but it still held together (and could still be used in a pinch if needed). The other is holding up well, but the tiny wheels need replacement, as rolling is not smooth. I believe the manufacturer has now upgraded this case to provide better wheels.

I am giving the bag five stars because it is actually the size Delsey said it is on their website....21.5x14x9. If you read reviews on other bags you know measurement given are often different than what the bag ends up being.

This is important because airlines AND TSA are cracking down on carry on sizes. Currently TSA's little box at international terminals is 22x14x9. My wife was refused passage by TSA at the San Diego International Terminal because her bag was 22.5 inches tall. Fortunately her flight was delayed so I drove 50 miles each way to swap suitcases.

I can pack a lot using packing cubes, but there are a couple of things to be aware of with this bag. First, the fabric portion that goes around the middle of the bag expands naturally even with the expansion zipper closed. Like I said, the bag it 9 inches deep completely compressed. If you over stuff it it will expand to 9.5 inches even with the expansion zipper closed. Leave enough room the squeeze the sides of the bag together when you stuff it in the TSA box. Second, Delsey actually has a list of airlines and their approved carry on sizes on their website. This bag will work on 90% of the carriers. When you look at the list notice there are weight limits to carry ons.....usually 20 lbs. After our whole bag swap debacle the airline told my wife the bag was two pounds too heavy. In the end, due to the delay and bag headaches they let it slide. So....the size of the bag is just a part of the equation. Good luck...it seems like those airlines REALLY want their bag fees!
